My experience is very little. I got 3rd party site to optimize. It was running at 1 request / sec. As I examined, it looks that when amount of includes inside it becomes high, a non-functioning cache system can kill your performance easily. (It's probably due to my lack of knowledge that I couldn't get cache working and had to implement reverse proxy+server cache) The idea of MODx is to have sort of [*...*] , [+...+] pseudo-tags in your templates which include other objects or html snippets and this. You build a comprehensive website layout consisting of static and dynamic data. I found content management (admin) part a bit confusing and non-intuitive. But with some training non-techies could understand it. Good platform, for those trying to avoid PHP code, but I wouldn't use it myself for limited customizability and since I'm not afraid of doing things directly in PHP. http://rtfm.modx.com/display/MODx096/MODx+Tags By Romans Malinovskis, Lead Developer of Agile Toolkit | Share your experience with NOLOH | 1 comment » | Started by Romans Malinovskis, Lead Developer of Agile Toolkit | Weird..
